Disappointed Beneficiaries
As a general rule, the Will is personal and private property until death. It does not have to be shown to or shared with any one else. However, situations occasionally arise where person(s) are named as beneficiaries in a Will and then later learn that they are not entitled to the bequest which they expected. This can be the result of a legal error in preparing the Will or a subsequent Will being prepared, perhaps when the testator lacked mental capacity.
